She Carries a Garden

Rooted in themes of nature and quiet emotion, this piece examines the intimate connection between the human form and the environment, exploring how internal sanctuaries mirror external worlds. A richly textured female figure becomes the landscape itself, carrying flowers, fruit, and a small bird as motifs of vitality and memory across her body.

Rendered in layered oil, glass, and mixed media, the canvas features an almost sculptural surface depth where paint and glass fragments catch and respond dynamically to ambient light. Limaxart uses the central figure as both a visual anchor and a study in contrast—playful and whimsical on the surface, yet grounded by a powerful, tender emotional resonance underneath.
