As Above So Below

Rooted in Hermetic philosophy, As Above So Below examines the duality between macrocosm and microcosm, exploring how internal emotional states mirror external environments. Suspended dark red umbrellas serve as motifs of passage and shelter, hovering between physical and spiritual planes.

Rendered in heavily layered oil paint, the canvas features a deeply textured surface in shifting blue tones that respond dynamically to ambient light. The inverted central figure acts as both a visual anchor and a study in balance, embedding narrative symbolism directly into the composition.
